IMSET

Institute for Mathematics, Science, Engineering, and Technology (IMSET) is a three-week summer program, held Monday-Friday, for high school students (grades 9-12), who are considering careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Selected students will prepare to become an integral part of today’s math and science workforce by focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics through curriculum development and enrichment activities. Students will engage in learning activities to improve study and test-taking skills and to enhance personal development.

To be considered, qualified applicants must submit a completed application, have a 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, submit a letter of recommendation from the principal and 1 teacher at their current school and submit standardized test scores from current school. The qualified applicant must also submit a brief essay explaining their interest in STEM, their familiarity with the careers in STEM and reason for interest in IMSET and an explanation of how IMSET can assist in meeting their career goals.
